Abe B. Alpert
Abe Beryl Alpert, 64, of 36 Thackeray Place died yesterday at Memorial Medical Center after a long illness.
He was a native of Savannah and a retired retail shoe merchant. He was a member of Congregation B. B Jacob, the Jewish Educational Alliance, the Clinton Masonic Lodge, B'nai, B rith and the Jewish War Veterans.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bertha Friedman Alpert; two brothers, Maurice Alpert and Ben Alpert, both of Savannah; two sisters, Mrs. Jeane Bensinger of Louisville, Ky., and Mrs. Eve Morton of West Palm Beach, Fla.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Sipple's Mortuary is in charge.
