ALLUMS, Mrs. Mary Youngblood, 88, a resident of Union Springs, AL passed away Saturday, December 3, 2005. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec 10, 2005 at 1pm from the St. Luke Mission-ary Baptist Baptist Church of Union Springs, AL, The Reverend Leonza Harris, pastor will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Mason Cem-etery.

Loving survivors include a dear sister, Idonia Garnett of Brook-lyn, NY; a beloved daughter, Effie (Dive-deceased) Baskin of Union Springs, AL; two god daughters, Ella Mae Johnson, Union Springs, AL and Earnestine Adams, Birmingham, AL; 14 grandchildren and sev-eral great grandchildren with thankful acknowledgement of two devoted granddaughters, Betty (Joel-deceased) Shepherd, Union Springs, AL and Jackie Stewart, Philadelphia, PA; and a special great granddaughter, Keesha Shepherd, Union Springs, AL who made her last days some of her best. Survivors also include, several nieces, neph-ews, other relatives and friends. Special mentions are Caterina Youngblood, Decatur, AL whom she referred to as her baby, Cordia Youngblood, Shelby County, AL her best friend and fishing buddy and Roberta who cleaned and took care of her in Birmingham, AL.

The body will lie in repose at the church from 12noon until the funeral hour. The Caring Staff of Carter Funeral Home will direct all services. Published in the Montgomery Advertiser on Dec. 9, 2005.
