Chester "Buzzy" Francis Allsbrook, Jr., of Roanoke Rapids, died Wednesday, February 20,2013, at his home.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was born June 12, 1938, to the late Chester Francis Allsbrook, Sr. and Mable Mills Allsbrook, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Jane Elizabeth Allsbrook.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Jenkins Allsbrook; his sons: Chester F. "Chuck" Allsbrook, III, of Spartanburg, S. C., Brett Allsbrook and wife, Jennifer, of Hendersonville, N. C., and Bucky Allsbrook and wife, Ashleigh, of Roanoke Rapids; his daughter: Maria Christiano, of Hendersonville, N. C., and his sister, Marcia Allsbrook Royal and husband, Earl, of Roanoke Rapids; his grandchildren: Danielle Allsbrook Bowens, Sophie Christiano, Whitney Allsbrook, Jordan Christiano, Lillie Christiano, Vincent Allsbrook, and Jeremy Allsbrook; his great-grandchild: Darrean Bowens; and his faithful friend and companion,Dottie.
Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at 2:00 P. M. conducted by Rev. Randy Martin and Rev. John Smith. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 22, 2013 , from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at Hockaday Funeral & Cremation Service which is handling the arrangements, and other times at the home.
