"Charlie P. Allman, age 70, died Saturday morning early in a local hospital from a heart attack. He is a native of Burke county and a long-time resident of Morganton for several years engaged in carpenter work here.
Unmarried, the deceased was the son of James and Jane Allman, both deceased.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at four o'clock at Quaker Meadows. Interment followed in the cemetery there."
Survivors included one sister and one brother.
