Ruby Whitney Allison Flowers, Adair Co. KY (1922-2010)

She was born Tuesday, June 13, 1922, in Adair Co., KY. She was the daughter of the late William Goebel and Mary Farris Whitney. She died Saturday, October 30, 2010, at the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 17 days.

She was a Lab Technician for the late Dr. Oris Aaron, was a noted historian of the Adair Memorial Hospital, attended Columbia-Union Presbyterian Church and was a member of Adair Chapter 435 O.E.S.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Allison and W.J. Flowers, Jr. and her brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Marie Whitney.

Memorials are suggested to Hosparus of Central Kentucky, Columbia-Union Presbyterian Church, Lindsey Wilson College or WHAS Crusade for Children. These may be made at the funeral home.
