SILVER POINT - Funeral services for Dow Allison, 73, of Route 1, Silver Point were held at 1 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home, Cookeville, with Bro. Joseph Britt Jr. officiating. Burial was
in Judd Cemetery.
Mr. Allison, a native of Putnam Co., TN, died Friday, December 16, 1983, in Cookeville General Hospital.
He was the son of the late LeRoy and Angeline Herron Allison; retired carpenter; veteran of U. S. Army, World War II, and member of the Church of Christ.
His family includes three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Elmore of Silver Point; Mrs. Mattie Anderson and Mrs. Dollie Nash, both of Cookeville, and a brother, Mr. Hilman Allison of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.
