Final Rites Held for Mrs. Kate Allison

Mrs. Kate Allison of Whitney died Friday at 6:20 a.m. in the Whitney Hospital. She was born March 3, 1882 in the Prairie Point Community.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Marshall and Marshall Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Tromping officiating. Interment was in the Peoria Cemetery.
Mrs. Allison had lived in the Bethel community since her marriage to W.T. Allison Jan. 5, 1902. She was a member of the Dallas Lancaster Avenue Methodist Church.
Among her survivors are her husband; one brother, John Wiech of Forbling, LA; eight children, Mrs. Kate Berry of Whitney, James D. Allison, of Lubbock, Mrs. Alline Greenhill of McAllen, Charles A. Allison of Whitney, Mrs. Mary A. Berry of Cleburne, Mrs. Julia Trompley of Dallas and Mrs. Betty Ralph of Dallas; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
