BRIDGEPORT - Benna J. Scott, 76, of Bridgeport, died Friday, Sept. 17, 1993, in Deaconess Medical Center in Spokane.

She was born Aug. 6, 1917, to Ben and Edna (Whitney) Alling, at the family ranch in Douglas County, near Grand Coulee. She was raised and educated in the area.

She married Cecil Scott on Dec. 21, 1944, at Almira. They had lived at Bridgeport for the past 13 years.

She is survived by her husband at home; a son, Sherman of Tenino; a daughter, Bonnie Maiers of Ronan, Mont.; two brothers, Jim of Coulee Dam and Norman of Grand Coulee; three sisters, Nell Trefry of Coulee Dam, June Webber of Marlin and Edna Mae Pfeifer of Electric City; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Arrangements are by Strate Funeral Home, Grand Coulee.
