Charles Rickey Alley, age 57, passed away Friday, June 08, 2012, at home. He was born April 22, 1955, son of the late Howard and Guida Mabe Alley.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Sally Alley; two brothers, Harry Alley and Micky Harold Alley Sr.; and sister-in-law, Barbara Sue Alley.
He is survived by two daughters and spouses, Emily and Claude Earhart of Austinville, Va., Sophia and Timothy Wilson of Galax, Va.; one son and fiance, Charles Richard Alley and Tasha Miller of Ivanhoe, Va.; two sisters, Nancy Akers of Ivanhoe, and Gypsy Alley of Sparta, N,C,; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Wanda Alley of Ivanhoe; five grandchildren, Sally Armbrister, Mary Armbrister, Matthew Wilson, Shana Wilson and Sierra Llewellyn; several special nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012, at the Reese Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
