Roberta was born on April 20, 1937, in Seward, Alaska. She earned the Equivalency of a Bachelor's Degree working as an Insurance Underwriter until her retirement on April 30, 1999.She was a Moose Lodge member as well as a member of American Legion.The family said: "After her retirement, her and her husband Howard, made many trips to their favorite spot, Palm Desert, California, to enjoy the sunshine and their many lifelong friends in the area."Roberta was preceded in death by the love of her life Howard M. Allen, in December 2007. She leaves behind her sister, Ramona Moore; Sister in law, Valerie DeFrance; Son in law, Tom Murphy; Niece, Kathy Heim; Nephews, Tracy DeFrance, Scott DeFrance and Sam Defrance; and Great Nieces, Lilah Echols, Ameliah Heim, Rose DeFrance, Vicktoria DeFrance, Donna DeFrance and Susie DeFrance.She will be placed next to her husband in the wall at Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery on 9th Avenue.
