WEST LIBERTY, April 6 --- Homer William Allen, 69, died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the residence of his son, Robert Allen. He was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lula Jones Allen; seven other sons, Murl, Frank and Manuel Allen, West Liberty; Lockford Allen, Owenton; Palmer Allen, Shelbyville; Finely Allen, Augusta, Ga., and Dan Allen, in the U. S. Army; two sisters, Mrs. Lenna Wilson, Middletown, Ohio, and Miss Ethel Allen, Corpus Christi, Tex.; two brothers, Chalmer Allen, West Liberty, and Verley Allen, Corpus Christi, Tex., and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Sunday at the White Oak Christian Church by the Rev. J. Ryan Nevius.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body is at the Herald and Stewart Funeral Home.
