ALLEN, AUDIE LOIS HOWSE Audie Lois Howse Allen, 94, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on March 24, 2013. Mrs. Allen cherished her family and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vallie Howse; her father, L.D. Howse; her husband, Dewey Allen; as well as three brothers and two sisters. She was the mother of Conrad Allen (Pauline); Carol Petruzella (Anthony); Steve Allen and Missy Allen. She had five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Her siblings are Kay Moore, Mildred Sutton, and L.P. Howse. Mrs. Allen was a devoted member of Shades Crest Baptist Church for 50 years. She was an active member of Bluff Park Garden Club. She and her husband, Dewey were proprietors of the Bluff Park Cafe for many years. The family will receive friends at Shades Crest Baptist Church from 11:00AM to 1:00 PM Thursday March 28. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday also at Shades Crest Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family request offerings for cancer research be sent to Sarcoma Foundation of America, 9899 Main Street, Suite 204, Damascus, MD 20872
