Donna M. Allen, 77, of the new London Care Center, New London, IA, formerly of Niota, IL, passed away at 3:02 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, Iowa City, IA.
She was born on March 12, 1938 in Missouri the daughter of Lewis D. and Eva Isabella Phillips Rudd. On October 12, 1985 she married Lawrence E. “Buck” Allen Jr. He preceded her in death on September 29, 2007.
Mrs. Allen was a 1957 Dallas City High School graduate. She worked various jobs throughout life but most recently was employed by the Catfish Bend Casino for several years. Donna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, fishing, gardening and canning, She loved Dale Earnhardt, Elvis Presley and especially loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Donald D. Rudd.
