ROSSVILLE, GA - Timothy Dexter Allen, 65 passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at a local hospital.
He was born in Chattanooga, TN the son of Beatrice and the Late Clyde Allen.
He lived in the north Georgia area all of his life, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two sisters, Judy Stephens of Chickamauga and Norma Johnson of Glen Rose, TX; one brother, Clyde Montgomery Allen of Las Vegas, NEV.; nephew, Don Stephens of Chickamauga; and a niece, Carla Benton of Valley View, TX.
Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. John Underwood officiating.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends today from 4-8 p.m. at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, Rossville, GA.
