Mrs. Barbara Ann Palmer Allen, 40, Route 3, Lumpkin Road, Lyman, died Wednesday in Gulfport. Visitors may call tonight from 6 until 9 at Riemann Memorial Funeral Home, U.S. 49, North, where a rosary will be said at 8. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home Friday at 9:45 a.m. and go to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Northwood Hills for a 10 a.m. Mass. Burial will follow in Floral Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Allen, a native of Gulfport, was the owner of Allen's Frames and Art Supply. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Tole Painters and the Magnolia Arts Guild. She was preceded in death by her father Taswell Pearson. Survivors include her husband, Philip O. Allen; three daughters, Miss Ellen Allen, Miss Elizabeth Allen, and Miss Debra Allen, all of Lyman; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Clifton Palmer of Gulfport; and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Gill of Panama Canal. Lang Funeral Home in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
