A double funeral service for John T. Allen, 53 years old, 24 Hazel street, Curtis Bay, and his son-in-law, Robert Reid, 36 years old, 1748 Jackson street, was conducted from the home of the former at 2 o'clock yesterday. Both men were mortally wounded by William F. Thompson, Lynchburg, Va. in a fight alleged to have grown out of a "kissing game" at the Allen home. Thompson is being held on a charge of causing the death of Allen and Reid.
A large crowd collected outside the Allen home during the short sermon by the Rev. E. T. Butz. The bodies were buried in Cedar hill Cemetery. In the funeral procession the two hearses proceeded abreast. A number of floral offerings were placed upon the graves.
