Mrs. Jean J. Leach of Dunwoody, died November 16, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Mrs. Leach was a longtime member of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church and was a member of the D.B.S. Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Mr. Joseph R. Leach, sons, Paul Leach, James Leach, Charles Leach all of Atlanta; Thomas Leach, New York City, N.Y.; grandchildren, Kaleigh Leach, Nicholas Leach, Zoe Leach, Maxwell Leach, sisters, Rosalie Allen, Sandy Clark, Susan Rice, Debbie Pierce, all of Boston, MA; Tina Allen, Palm Coast, FL; brothers, Bruce Allen, Virginia; Richard Allen, Andover, MA; Thomas Allen, Pepperal, MA; David Allen, New Hampshire; Peter Allen, Boston, MA.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Nov 20, 2003 at 11AM at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church. Dr. John Page and Dr. Jim Hyder will officiate. Entombment, Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sandy Springs United Methodist Church or Haven House Hospice. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7-9PM at Sandy Springs Chapel Funeral Directors, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy. Published in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on November 18, 2003
