Courtney Alkie, 79, died at his home in Shepardsville 9:35 am. today after a four year illnes.
He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Alma Stewart, Mrs. Anna Kelshimer and Mrs. Ethel Price, all of Shepardsville, and Mrs. Rose Higgins of Greencastle; four sons, Virgil, Clinton, route two; Samuel, Keego Harbor Michigan; Harley at home and Fred, address unknown, one stepson, Raymond Newins, Kokomo; and step daughter, Mrs. Mary Camperoll, La Porte, Ind.; One brother, Samuel, Cissna Parke, Ill., and 11 grandchildren.
The body is at the Frist Funeral Home pending the completion of funeral arrangements.
