Born in Ashaway on May 11, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Mildred (Cook) Jacobson. Mrs. Algiere was an Inspector at the Bradford Dyeing Association for many years and retired from Charbert Inc. Besides her husband of 58 years she will be sadly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, of Westerly. She also leaves her son-in-law. She was the devoted and loving grandmother of six. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carolee Gilluly and her two brothers, William Jacobson, Richard Jacobson and her sister, Mildred Saunders. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the First Hopkinton Cemetery, Chase Hill Road, Ashaway. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly.
