Alice LaVelle Lambert Alexander, age 88, passed away May 19, 2000, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born December 31, 1911, in Granger, Utah, the daughter of David Henry and Minnie Eldredge Lambert. Married Willard Louis Alexander on June 7, 1933, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Willard passed away October 20, 1969. Alice was an active member of the LDS church where she served in many auxiliaries. Active in MIA Program while her girls were in their youth. Member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Alice was loved by all who knew her and was known for her generosity of love and service. Her greatest joy in life was her family, with a special attention to the grandchildren.
Survived by three daughters, Janet A. (husband Dell) Urry, Salt lake; Carol A. (husband Pete) Moser, San Antonio, TX; Jill (husband Robert) Percival, Salt Lake City, UT; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, mother, father, three brothers, one sister.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 23, 2000, 11 a.m., at the Belverede Ward, 600 East Downington Ave (1820 South). Friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens. Funeral Directors: The Holbrook Mortuary.
