Mrs. Alexander died of causes related to age Monday in a Portland care center. She was 85.
Mrs. Alexander was born May 4, 1905, in Walla Walla, but lived most of her life in Portland. She worked in the accounting department for Standard Oil Co. for many years until her retirement in 1970. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Her husband, Frank C. Alexander, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Swails of Portland; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Odd Fellows Home.
