Glenda Alexander

DECATUR — Glenda Alexander, of Decatur, left this world and her frail body on Monday, May 8, 2017, to be with her Lord and Savior. She leads the way to the Kingdom of God for those of us to follow.

Survivors include her loving husband, Larry Alexander; son, Gerry Alexander (Connie); granddaughter, Shannon Alexander; son, Dale Alexander; granddaughter, Aleah O'Quinn (Tanner); great-grandson, Lawson O'Quinn; sister, Pat Croley (Sonny); brother, Donald Morris (Pat); sister, Joan Owen (Andy); nephews, Joseph Owen (Danna), Chris Morris (Connie), Chad Morris; nieces, LeeAnn Brewer (Jackie), Stacy McDougald and Rebecca McKay (Joey), who all knew her as their Nanny.

Glenda was a member of Unity Baptist Church. She worked at Delphi for 10 years and loved to crappie fish with her best friend, Norma Craig. For those who met and knew her, a remembrance of her life will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with Brother Joel Snyder officiating. The family wishes to thank all of you for your prayers.

A special thank you to Southern Care Hospice and her personal care nurse, Tabitha Brown who graciously cared for her during her time of need. Roselawn Funeral Home has the honor of serving the family.
