Gary Ben Alexander passed away on January 4, 2005 in Clifton, Texas.

Gary was the son of Elword L. and Bessie (Coleman) Alexander. He grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from Southwest High School.

He moved to Whitney in 1984. He had worked for several years and was a big NASCAR fan and loved to be with his family.

He was a member and past president of both Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department and Whitney Bass Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Alexander of Whitney; daughter, Maci Loran Alexander of Whitney; brother, Gerald Lynn Alexander and wife, Brenda of Lindale; sisters, Betty Jo Wingo of Crowley, Kathy Gail Sperry and husband, Wesley of Fort Worth; many nieces and nephews and 2 great nephews.
