BLACKSBURG – Phyllis W. Alexander, 68, of 615 Kings Creek Dr., the Kings Creek community, died Monday, Nov. 25, 2002, at her home.
A native of Cherokee County, she was the widow of Thomas Alexander and daughter of the late Pinkney and Mary Martin Wray. She was a member of Canaan United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Dr. Robin Ann Alexander of Gaffney.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by three brothers, Gene Wray, Jack Wray and Roy Wray.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Charles Phillips.
