Mr. Alexander died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe after a long illness.
He was a clerk with Illinois Central Railroad and a member of First Baptist Church of West Monroe.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Geneva Alexander of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Louise McNaughton and Mrs. Lodee Hall, both of West Monroe; four brothers, Murray Alexander, Claude Alexander, Arvell Alexander and James Alexander, all of West Monroe.
