LULING, LA-Funeral services for Junius (Copie) Alexander, 62, of Route 3, Box 241 in Luling, La., will be held at 11 a.m. today at Emken-Linton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ferd Dawson III officiating.

Burial will follow Masonic graveside services at Galveston Memorial Park.

Mr. Alexander died Thursday at Park Plaza Hospital in Houston.

He was born October 5, 1916, in Galveston.

He was a retired foreman for Union Carbide and a member of the Methodist Church in Texas City. He was a former Texas City resident of 25 years.

Survivors are his wife, Jessie Lees Alexander of Luling , La. ; fou r daughters, Becky Dufrene and Jane Alexander, both of Luling, La., Dorothy Alexander of New Orleans, and Jean Sanders of Paradis, La.; a brother, A.A. Alexander Jr. of Austin; a sister, Mrs. Bill (Jenny) Hammond of Austin; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Noah Welch, R.S. (Andy) Anderson, Lee Luhn, Grarjy Green, Odbert Myers and Ed Warner.

Visitors may call at the funeral home after 8 a.m. today.
