Services for Mrs. Linnie Pearl Bogard were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 1951, conducted by Rev. W. H. Cook. The service was held in the Steele Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bogard, age 50 years, 9 months and 3 days, passed away at the Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital at Hayti, Wednesday morning, September 12th. Born in Jackson, Tennessee, she had been a resident of Steele for the past three years.
Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery with German Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bogard is survived by one son, Robert C. Bogard of Steele her mother, Mrs. Della Alexander of Steele; one sister, Mrs. Mary Frakes of Steele; three brothers, Homer G. Alexander of Steele, T. N. Alexander of Humboldt, Tennessee, and Robert Alexander of Forrest City, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: Jimmy Hastings, Donald Michie, Park Braden, Kenneth Frame, Paul Crawford, and Charles George.
Honorary pallbearers were Loyce Gestring, Paul Fullerton, Simms Michie, Carl Sheeley, Riley F. Knight, Irvin Kantor, Harbert Hudgens, and Howard Graham.
