PLEASANT PLAINS - Loarine J. Theilen, 73, of Pleasant Plains died at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at St. John's Hospice.
She was born March 29, 1934, in Athens, the daughter of Charles B. and Elizabeth Smith Alexander. She married Merle Theilen on May 8, 1952, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pleasant Plains.
Mrs. Theilen formerly worked at Illinois National Bank and the village of Pleasant Plains. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Pleasant Plains.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are her husband, Merle; two daughters, Debra (Mark) Camille of Naperville and Donna (Butch) Aidich of Springfield; three grandchildren, Kimberly Anderson of Naperville, Douglas (Ashley) Anderson of Fort Myers, Fla., and Courtney Aidich of Springfield; three stepgrandchildren, Quin and Laken Aidich and Sonny (Kelly) Aidich, all of Springfield; three great-grandsons, Jacob and Jaxson Anderson of Fort Myers and Trenton Anderson of Naperville; three sisters, Sue Butts of Effingham, Lois Iams of Escondido, Calif., and Margaret Usherwood of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church in Pleasant Plains. Services will be there at 10 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, with Pastor Don Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Plains Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Zion Lutheran Church.
