David Rush Alcorn
Jacksonville, Ark.-Services were Jan. 31, at a Jacksonville Funeral Home here for David Rush Alcorn, 51, Jacksonville, Ark., who died Monday, Jan. 28, at a Little Rock hospital.

Mr. Alcorn served 20 years in the Air Force before he retired in 1970 at the rank of technical sergeant. He also was retired from the U. S. Postal Service.

He was born May 2, 1933, at Fern Creek, Ky., the son of Wallace and Annabel Hoskins Alcorn. He moved from Topeka to Jacksonville in 1980.

Mr. Alcorn was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the National Order of Foresters.
He was married to Doris Irene Koch April 16, 1982. She survives.

Other survivors include five sons, Teter J. Alcorn, David G. Alcorn and Brian S. Alcorn, all of Topeka, and Jeffrey S. Culbertson and Sean C. Culbertson, both of Jacksonville; two daughters, Tina M. Alcorn and Kimberly K. Alcorn, Both of Topeka; a brother, Milton M. Alcorn, Louisville, Ky.; three sisters, Alice B. Norris and June G. Humphrey, both of Louisville, and Judith Starnes, Saudi Arabia; and two grandchildren.

Burial was in the National Cemetery at Little Rock.
