Ms. Donelda Eileen Alcorn-Henderson, age 75, of Flowery Branch, Ga., passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Memorial Services will be held at a later date at Phillips Cemetery in Northeast Pennsylvania. Ms. Henderson was born September 14, 1937 to Harry and Ethel Wakeley Alcorn in Ripley, N. Y., and later moved to Palm Springs, Calif., where she raised three children. She was the Valedictorian of her High School graduating class, was a retired Bookkeeper and had been a member of Desert Chapel in Palm Springs. Ms. Henderson was also preceded in death by her brother, Bernard Alcorn and sister, Arlene Alcorn. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, James and Soila Henderson; son, David Henderson; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Jimmy Shackelford; and grandchildren, Sean, Jessica, Timothy, Joe, Christopher and Jeremy. Memorial Park South Funeral Home, 4121 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, GA 30542 is in charge of arrangements.
