Adolfo was born October 2, 1946 in Florence, AZ. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1974, was a Vietnam War veteran and also served in Korea and Thailand. Adolfo was a distinguished member of AMVETS Post 94 (Heber, CA) and VFW Post 1637 (Calexico) and retired after a 30 year tenure in government service.
Adolfo is survived by his wife, Nuemi Alcala of El Centro; four children, Adolfo Alcala Jr., Robert De La Cruz, Isabel Elizondo, all of El Centro, and Crystal Howe of Austin, TX; sister, Alicia Hayes of Imperial; aunt, Agripina Alcala; 10 grandchildren; nephews, John Paul Alcala and Mike Alcala and numerous relatives in Arizona.
