Research Prof at WSC Dies
Pullman, Washington. Dr. Raymond L. Albrook, 54, Director of the Division of Industrial Research at Washington State College died in a hospital here Tuesday after an illness of more than a year.
Dr. Albrook came to WSC in 1948 as a chemist in the engineering experiment station and set up research work on facsimile transmission of weather maps between Pullman and the island of Guam.
He was promoted to Director of Industrial Research in 1949 and has been in charge of the college's research program for Northwest industry in the Institute of Technology.
He is survived by his wife and one son.
