According to his obituary, the family lived at Bristow, Oklahoma, prior to coming to Miami.
Leo passed away at the Miami Baptist Hospital, Miami, Oklahoma, on Sunday afternoon, 01 May 1932. The funeral service was held at the Miami Baptist church at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, May 3rd. Rev. J. Grover Scales officiated. Burial was in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami, Oklahoma.
He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Albro; two daughters, Mrs. Leona Newman of Miami and Fern Albro of the home; and two sons, Junior Albro and W. H. Albro, of the home. He was also survived by three brothers, Ernest Albro of Miami, Will Albro of Wichita, Kas., and Sam Albro of Vinita, and one sister, Mrs. Leona Divine of Vinita.
Military records show Leo E. Albro of Ottawa, Indian Territory, enlisted in the U.S. Army 05 Dec 1904 at Fort Scott, Kansas. He was a private in the Cavalry. He deserted from West Point, New York, on 05 Aug 1905.
