Brandon Keith Albritton, age 15, a native and resident of Wilmer, died on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014 along with his grandfather, Robert Albritton, Jr. Brandon loved Alabama Football and the outdoors. He had a natural talent for mechanics, which is where he discovered his love for racing. He spent countless weekends at the race track, either racing his lawnmower or in the stands. He loved fishing, which is how he spent nearly his whole summer. He had recently discovered a passion for deer hunting and was able to enjoy the past few months doing so. Brandon will be sadly missed by his family and friends and will always be remembered for the caring and compassionate young man he was. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Albritton; He is survived by his beloved parents, his sister, grandparents, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home, from 11:00 - 1:00 pm. Chapel services will follow at 1:00. Internment will be in Valhalla Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Riley Denmark, R.J. Howey, Johnny Lott, Andrew Lundy, Jonathan West, and Rhett Yager. Honorary pallbearers will be Brian McDaniel and Darrell Woods.
