Funeral services are set for 11 a.m., Saturday, January 8, 2011, at First Christian Church in Bryan. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at the College Station Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born on March 18, 1921, in Chickasha, Okla., the daughter of Elizabeth and Ira Albright, who preceded her in death. She was a resident of College Station, Texas from 1965 until the death of her husband, Billy J. Adams in September 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband Billy J. Adams, and her brother, Emmett O. Albright.
Mrs. Adams is survived by her son, Jack Adams and wife, Alice, of Wake Forest; daughter, Patricia Manny, of Norwalk, Conn.; grandchildren, Adam Manny and wife, Michelle, of Connecticut, Sundi Manny, of California, Michael Adams and wife, Traci, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Gregory Adams and wife, Sandra, of Wake Forest.
