GERTRUDE ALBRIGHT
Mrs. Gertrude Albright, 62, wife of Nicholas Albright, F14 Gateway Gardens, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past 11 days.
She was born Nov. 9, 1889, near Cassville, daughter of J.W. and Laura (Waisner) Weir.
Surviving besides the husband are two children, Mrs. Thelma Slocum of Plymouth, O., and Elbert Albright of Peru; two stepchildren, Nora Irwin of Kokomo and Loren Albright, Kokomo RR 5; two sisters, Mrs Lennie Howell and Mrs. Madie McDowell, both of Kokomo; two brothers, Howard and Virgil Weir, both of Indianapolis, and four grandchildren.
She was a member of the Spanish-American Auxiliary and held membership in a Baptist Church in Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Courtland Avenue Friends Church, followed by burial in Albright Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ellers Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
