William J. Albright, 81, died Tuesday at his home in Logansport.

Born April 26, 1896, he was the son of Leonard and Margaret Bauerline Albright. He was married June 29, 1922, to Mary Catherine Hile, who died Nov. 1, 1976.

A World War I veteran, he retired 16 years ago. He worked at the Logansport Foundry 38 years and 19 years for the City of Logansport. He was a member of the Eagles, the American Legion and Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, William Albright, Logansport; two brothers, Otto Albrecht(sic) and Carl Albright, both of Logansport; two grandchildren, Marsha Fewell, Peru, and David Albright, at home; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Marocco Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Toby Rendleman officiating. Burial will be in Ever Rest Memorial Park. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the funeral chapel, where Eagles memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
