Jacob A. R. Albright was born January 1, 1853, and died in Hanover, Pa., February 23, 1929, aged 76 years, one month and 22 days.
Mr. Albright had been sick only a few days, and his many relatives and friends were shocked to hear of his sudden death.
He belonged to a prominent family of farmers whose homes were mostly in Manheim Township. He grew to manhood and spent most of his life, near Brodbeck's, Pa., and was a lifelong member of St. Jacob's (Stone) Reformed Church.
The funeral services were held from his late home on Baer Ave., Hanover, Pa., on Tuesday morning, February 26th, with brief services at the house, and concluding services and burial at the Stone Church. In spite of the very rainy weather and the bad condition of the roads, a large congregation of friends and relatives had gathered at the church. The funeral text was Psa. 23:3.
