David Alberto, 86, died yesterday afternoon at Driftwood Convalescent Hospital. Born in San Francisco Nov. 12, 1890, he was a musician and music teacher all his life, and had studied music in Vienna and Berlin. Mr. Alberto made his home at Santa Fe street & 9th avenue in Carmel, and together with Allen Griffin of Pebble Beach organized the Carmel Music Society many years ago. He is survived by his wife, Iris Alberto of Carmel. Private funeral services have been held at Mission Mortuary, followed by inurnment at the Little Chapel by-the-Sea, Pacific Grove.
