He married Melva Gauger on Sept. 8, 1962 in Sioux Falls.
They lived in Lennox until 1975 when they moved to Sioux Falls.
Survivors are his wife, Melva, Sioux Falls; 3 daughters, Penny (Kim) Mendel, Chancellor, SD, Ginger (Chuck) Jepson, Ft. Pierre, SD, Cheryl (Dan) Posthumus, Wheaton, MN; a son Mark Albers, Lennox, SD; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April, 9, 2011 at Heritage Funeral Home.
