ANNIE ELIZABETH REMINSNIDER ALBAUGH
11-4-1844 -- 3-28-1875
At Forest Hill, on the 28th, at 2:05 PM, Mrs. Elizabeth Albaugh, wife of Jonathan Albaugh, died at the age of 30 years 4 months and 29 days.
Her disease was inflammatory rheumatism and lung fever combined. The best medical aid of the country was in attendance up to her final moments. The day before she died, she declared her readiness to leave this world and gain eternal life. Her hope was firm in that direction. Around her death bed stood an affectionate husband, two children, and a large number of friends and relatives in tears. But the death pang was only for a moment, and she was gone; and at about 12:00 noon, on the 30th, her remains were entombed in the Evangelical churchyard near H. Zuendel.
The funeral services were conducted by Revs. Dunlap and Zuendel, from Ecclesiastes 9th chapter, 10th verse. The most heartfelt thanks and tender regards of the sorrow-stricken husband are tendered to all who did so kindly assist him in this hour of his calamity.
