"Long Illness Is Fatal to Yoloan

A long illness at 8:30 a.m. today proved fatal to Antone F. Alameda, 57, native of San Leandro and resident of Yolo county for seven years. Since coming here, he had farmed on a ranch eight miles west of here. Mr. Alameda was stricken ill last April and his condition had been growing worse steadily. He is survived by his widow Mrs. Mable Alameda; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Mariannon of Fairfield, Mrs. Rose Garcia and Mrs. Adeline Santos of Vallejo and Miss Mable Alameda of Woodland; two sons, Frank of woodland and Manuel of Fairfield; two brothers, Frank Alameda of Gustine and Manuel Alameda of Sacramento, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Silviera of Tracy. The McNary Funeral home is making funeral plans."

"Last Rites Held For A. Alameda
Funeral services for Antone Alameda were held today at Holy Rosary Catholic church with burial in St. Joseph's cemetery. The Mc Nary Funeral home arranged the services. Pallbearers included: D. Souza, Joe Macedo, Frank Brazil, D. B. Alves, Frank Bettencourt and Joe Tostes."
