Mrs. Virginia Akins Hall, 61, died Sunday afternoon at the Medical Center Hospital in Macon after a brief illness. She was a native of Bulloch County and had lived in Statesboro most of her life but had lived in Macon for the past 12 years. She was a member of the Martha White Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edna Virginia H. Addison; one sister, Mrs. Ann Akins Gay, Statesboro; two brothers, James Ray Akins, Macon, and Carlton Akins, Dublin; one granddaughter.

The funeral service for Mrs. Hall will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Smith-Tillman Mortuary with the Rev. J. Robert Smith and the Rev. William Perry officiating. Burial will be in the East Side Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers will be nephews and cousins. Smith-Tillman Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
