William "Runt" Ake, 83, of Portales died Monday, April 16, 2012, at Clovis Healthcare and Rehab.
He was born Nov. 23, 1928, in Lamesa, Texas.
He worked for many years for the cities of Belton and Baytown, Texas, in the street maintenance department.
Survivors include six sons, Larry Ake, Windell Ake, Windell Jones, Curtis Ake, Ronnie Ake and Donnie Ake; and two daughters, Elaine Graham and Debra Ake.
Services: 3 p.m. (CST) Friday at Earthman's Memory Gardens in Baytown, Texas.
