Wilbur D. Ake was born May 26, 1942, to Ernest and Ethel (Jenkins) Ake in Chester OK. He died July 7, 2010, at his home in Enid OK.
He worked awhile for the City of Enid and later did odd jobs for other people around the community. He loved fishing, and when he couldn't go fishing anymore, he watched old movies. He was very welcoming and had lots of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one brother.
Wilbur is survived by daughters Maxine Ruiz of Canton OK and Donna Presley of Seiling OK; son Dustin Ake of Mustang OK; sister Norma Davis and husband Lyndon of Enid; brothers Floyd Ake of Seiling and Larry Ake and wife Becky of Watonga OK; and nine grandchildren.
