Roy E. Airesman, 70, of Somerset RD 3, Our Husband and Father, went to be with Our Lord on Oct, 15, 1989 at Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 10, 1919 in Lincoln Township, son of the late Clark R. and Ida (Faidley) Airesman. Also precdeded in death by two sisters. Survived by his wife, Hazel Maust Airesman, son Royden E., married to the former Linda Wagner, Somerset RD 3; and Joy Ann, wife of Lee B. Fritz, Somerset RD 3; three grandchildren. Brother of Emma Catherine Gardner, Manchester, Tenn.; Dolores, wife of Merlin Gnegy, Somerset RD 3 and Shirely, wife of Jim C. Brocht, Rockwood RD 3, Ray Airesman, Somerset Rd 3, and Floyd, Berlin RD 4. A member of the Sipesville Church of the Brethren, where he served as a deacon, Sunday School Teacher and on the cemetery board. A veteran of World War II, with five battle stars, serving in Germany and Norway. Retired mechanic for Island Creek Coal Co., Tire Hill and a member of UMWA. Death terminated a marriage union of 46 years. Friends will be received in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday at the Sipesville Church of the Brethren, Rev.
