Blanche M. Ahrens
Blanche Marie Ahrens, 82, died June 16 at 6:24 p.m. in the residence of her son, Richard K. Ahrens, Allentown Pike, Maidencreek Township.
Her husband, Harold A. Ahrens, died Feb. 9. 1980.
Born in Maidencreek Township, she was the daughter of the late Herman S. and Florence E. (Rothermel) Groh.
Ahrens was a member of Maidencreek Church, Blandon, where she was a choir member.
She was a charter member of the Blandon Lioness Club, a 50-year member of Reading Chapter 251, Order of the Eastern Star.
She is also survived by another son, Raymond A., Rockland Township; four granddaughters and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in Walter R. Christ Funeral Home Inc., Laureldale. Burial will be in Maidencreek Cemetery, Blandon.
