Dock F. Aholz died in his home Friday morning probably from apoplexy. For several days he had not been quite well but continued in his usual employment,going to work Friday morning but returned home saying tha he was too sick to work and soon after that was stricken with apoplexy and died.
For 35 years he had worked in the commission business ,in recent years being in the employ of C.W. Ward. His long association with that business had given him an extensive acquaintance and he was generally popular with those who knew him. He was a member of Decatur Camp,Woodmen of the World and Loyal Order of Moose.
He was born in Decatur Dec.11,1870 and he has always lived here. He leaves his wife and one daughter,Mrs.Freta Blakeney,sister Mrs.Clara Florey.
