She was a secretary at Sharpsville Schools, treasurer of Taylor School Corp. and a school contract consultant.
Frances was a member of Crossroads Community Church, Sharpsville Eastern Star (O.E.S.), and Kokomo Swinging Squares. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an avid bridge player and square dancer. She also enjoyed her year of residency at Autumnwood Village.
Frances is survived by one son, James R. Peters and his wife, Nancy, Kokomo; one daughter, Joan L. Campbell and her husband, Scott, Noblesville; one brother, William D. Henderson, Sharpsville; five grandchildren, Lindsay Peters, Marlborough, Mass., Drs. Charee Condict and husband Kevin, Christy Conaway and husband Aaron, Carrie Capshaw and husband Lucky, and Ryan Campbell, all of Tipton. She also has four great-grandsons, Calvin Condict, Maverick Conaway, Oliver Conaway and Dallas Capshaw.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph N. Ahlemeyer, and one brother, Phillip G. Henderson.
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Young-Nichols Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff Harlow presiding. Burial will be in Sharpsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral
