Agripina V. Aguilar, 98, of Eloy died Sept. 23, 2008 at home.

Visitation began at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 11:30. Funeral Mass was celebrated at noon by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial was in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mrs. Aguilar was born Oct. 25, 1909 in San Juan Bautista, Mexico, and was a daughter of Jesus and Magdalena Valdez. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Vidal D.; two sons, Vidal V. Aguilar Jr., of Phoenix and David Aguilar, of Scottsdale; two daughters, Hermosinda Aguilar-Corona and Juanita Aguilar, both of Eloy; two brothers, Ysidro Valdez, of Casa Grande and Lupe Valdez, of Eloy; two sisters, Santos Solis Chino, of Salinas, California, and Juana Valdez, of Eloy; 14 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a baby daughter, Maria Magdalena Aguilar; a sister, Maria Valdez; and four brothers, Jose, Aurelio, Helio and Candido Valdez.

J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
